How do you ensure the security and privacy of my data?

Security and privacy are a top priority with NeoBudget.  We go above and beyond industry standards ensure that your data remains safe.  We regularly have a 3rd party scan our servers for vulnerabilities, we keep up with security patches, we encrypt all communication with your computer using SSL to prevent eavesdropping. On top of all that, all sensitive information (passwords, account numbers, etc) are stored encrypted in our database so even our programmers do not have access to view them.


Can I directly sync transactions with my bank?

The import wizard lets you import your bank statement in Quicken (QIF) or Microsoft Money (OFX/QFX) format. This saves hours of manual entry. However, a direct connection to your bank is not yet available. We’re working on it.


Do you have an iPhone or an Android app?

Not yet, but we hope to have that eventually. We do have a mobile version that works great on all mobile devices that can access the web.


Can I use NeoBudget even though I have an irregular income?

Yes! There are several techniques that can be used. The method we recommend involves sticking all your income in one envelope and doling it out at regular intervals as if you were paying yourself.
